The Museum of Folk Architecture and Life in Uzhgorod is an open air museum, consisting of architectural monuments of old Transcarpathian villages, and examples of the oldest and most common forms of folk arts and crafts.
The museum, opened to the public in June 1970, covers an area of four hectares. It is located near the territory of Uzhgorod castle (Kapitulna Street, 33/a).
The National Museum of the History of Ukraine in the Second World War in Kyiv is a memorial complex located on the slopes of the right bank of the Dnieper River on the outskirts of Pechersk, one of the historic districts of the city.
This is one of the largest museums in Ukraine (over 300 thousand exhibits). The museum is most associated with the 102-meter monument to Motherland, which became one of the most recognizable views of Kyiv. Over the years, the museum has been visited by more than 21 million visitors.
Radomyshl is a small town with a population of about 15 thousand people located to the north-east of Zhitomir, in Zhitomir region. Today, this place is known primarily due to the historical and cultural complex “Radomysl Castle” opened in 2011.

May 23, Odessa held “The Marsh in Vyshyvankas” (Ukrainian traditional embroidered shirts). About 500 people dressed in national costumes marched through the central streets of the city.

April 4, 2015, on the facade of St. Sophia’s Cathedral in Kyiv, you could see a unique show – light performance “I – Dream” commemorating the opening of the 12th “French Spring in Ukraine.”
“French Spring in Ukraine” includes an extensive cultural program on the whole territory of Ukraine, strengthening Franco-Ukrainian relations and cooperation.

The wooden church of St. Nicholas in Sasiv village (Zolochevsky district of Lviv region) was built in 1731. Although, according to some sources, it was founded in the 15th century. The church interior is decorated with a beautiful seven-tier iconostasis of the 17th century.
The domes of the church, placed close to each other, are its true ornament. The last restoration of St. Nicholas Church, the monument of architecture of Ukraine, was made in 2008.
The Museum of Folk Architecture and Life “Open Air Museum in Pyrohiv” is an architectural and landscape complex of historical and ethnographic regions of Ukraine.
You can find it on the southern outskirts of Kyiv in Goloseyevsky area, near the village of Pyrohiv (Pirogov). 275 architectural exhibits of Ukrainian folk architecture of the 16th-20th centuries are presented on its territory (133,5 hectares). Yesterday, August 24, the Ukrainians were celebrating Independence Day. In honor of this day, in the center of Kyiv, the parade of vyshyvankas (traditional Ukrainian clothing with elements of ethnic embroidery) was held.

Svyatogorsky State Historical-Architectural Reserve is a complex of monuments of history and culture of the 17th-20th centuries.
The reserve is situated at the foot of the chalk mountains (Svyatiye “Holy” Mountains), on the right bank of the Seversky Donets River (near the city of Svyatogorsk located 150 km to the north of Donetsk).
