Khotyn, located in the present Chernivtsi region, is one of the most ancient towns of Ukraine. It was founded as a border fortress in the beginning of the 11th century.

Church of St. Dmitry in Kozyari

Kozyari is a village with a population of about 200 people located in Podvolochisky district of the Ternopil region. The main attraction of the village is a magnificent wooden church of St. Dmitry built in 1645.

Budaniv is a village with a population of about 1,500 people located in Terebovlya district of the Ternopil region.

The main attraction of the village is a stone castle built in the early 17th century on the site of the burnt wooden castle.

Lychkivtsi is a village with a population of about 1,000 people located in Husyatyn district of the Ternopil region, about 72 km southeast of Ternopil.

Wooden Church of St. Nicholas in Sapohiv

Sapohiv is a small village with a population of about 800 people located in the central part of Borshchiv district in the Ternopil region. For the first time the village was mentioned in 1564.

One hot summer day near Berdyansk

Let’s fast forward from chilly winter weather on a hot summer day on the coast of the Azov Sea.

Mala Rostivka is a small village with a population of about 200 people located in Oratovsky district of the Vinnitsa region. Tourists rarely visit this remote place that has one of the best preserved palaces in the region.
