Lutsk High Castle also known as Lubart’s Castle is one of the largest, oldest and best-preserved castles in Ukraine, a monument of architecture and history of national importance.

Kaminne Selo State Geological Reserve

Kaminne Selo (literally meaning “stone village”) is one of the little-known interesting places in Ukraine – several hectares of forest on which large boulders are scattered.
A lot of these stones resemble rural houses, there is a “square” with a “school”, and even a “church”. Most tourists visit a stone with “footprints of God”, there is a special ladder attached to it. Photos by: nastya_paw.

Provincial Towns of Ukraine – Lebedyn

Lebedyn is a small town with a population of about 26 thousand people located in the Sumy region, 50 km south-west of the city of Sumy.
It was founded as a stronghold of the Belgorod fortified line on the Olshanka River in 1653 and originally was a fort with 12 wooden towers, the settlement around the fort appeared in 1654. Photos by: gatta_bianka.

Hoverla – the Highest Mountain in Ukraine

Hoverla (in Romanian meaning “an impassable height”) is the highest mountain on the territory of Ukraine (2,061 meters).
This popular tourist destination is located on the border of the Zakarpattia and Ivano-Frankivsk regions, about 17 km from the border with Romania. Hoverla on Google Maps.

Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi Fortress – the view from above

Medieval fortress in the town of Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi is a monument of history and town-planning of the 13th-15th centuries, one of the best and the largest preserved fortresses on the territory of Ukraine.
The total area of the fortress, standing on the rocky bank of the Dniester estuary, is 9 hectares, the length of the walls – 2.5 km. The fortress has the form of an irregular polygon.

The resort city of Berdyansk in early summer

Berdyansk, a city with a population of about 114 thousand people in the Zaporozhye region, is a marine, climatic and mud resort of national importance.
It is located on the eastern shore of the Berdyansk Bay in the northern part of the Azov Sea. The water in this part of the Azov Sea remains warm until late autumn. There are no sharp temperature swings, as in the Black Sea. Photos by: Alexey Novik.
