Zina asks: As a foreign student studying a preparatory year to learn the Ukrainian language before studying medicine, can I get a job as a doctor in Ukraine after I get my degree or are there more requirements to practice medicine in Ukraine?
Expert's answer:
If you receive a Ukrainian diploma of medical education, then you should not have problems with employment in your specialty in Ukraine, if, of course, you have sufficient qualifications for your potential employer, can speak Ukrainian/Russian. You should start looking for work in your specialty during your studies, try to offer your services to local private clinics, get an internship with them. Thus, after graduation, you will already have experience, connections in clinics, and this will help you to quickly get a job.
