The air force of Ukrainian army is one of the main supports of military combat potential of armed forces of Ukraine. This high mobility branch of Ukraine army assigned, compatible with air defense, for Ukraine air space security, for enemy objects assault and battery, for own troops support, for landing operations, for air carriages of troops and equipments and for aerial reconnaissance. Ukrainian army air force is about 48 thousand people with 208 combat and 37 transport aircrafts.
