Let’s fly over Kharkiv – the second largest city in Ukraine with a population of about 1.5 million people.

The Central Park for Culture and Recreation named after Maxim Gorky, or just a “city park” is the main park in Kharkiv.

Opened in 1907, the park covers an area of over 130 hectares. Here you can find the largest ferris wheel in Ukraine (55 meters in diameter).

Travel to Ukraine

The tourism potential of the Kherson region

Interesting video about the opportunities for development of tourism in Kherson oblast – a region in southern Ukraine washed by the Black and Azov seas.

In 2014, the reconstruction of History Museum of the Southern Railway located in Kharkiv was completed. The museum received a number of unique exhibits including such rarities as the locomotive “Felix Dzerzhinsky”.

The museum consists of three halls: Green Hall (the pre-revolutionary period), Red Hall (the Soviet period) and Blue Hall (the period of independent Ukraine). It is located in the former Kharkiv-Freight station, near the main railway station. Hours: 9:00 to 18:00, except Mondays and Tuesdays. The entrance is free.

Holy Dormition Pochayiv Lavra is an Orthodox monastery located in the town of Pochaiv in the Ternopil region. It is the largest Orthodox temple complex and monastery in western Ukraine and the second largest in the country after Kyiv Pechersk Lavra.
