Kozelets is a village with a population of about 7.5 thousand people, located in the southwest of Chernihiv Oblast of Ukraine. It is known since the beginning of the 17th century as a fortified town, which was part of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth under the name Kozelec.

Here you can see several interesting architectural monuments, but the most interesting and picturesque one is the Cathedral of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary (1752-1763), an architectural monument of national significance, which combines features of Ukrainian and Elizabethan Baroque. Bilorichytsya is a village with a population of about 1,100 people located in the Pryluky district of Chernihiv Oblast, 166 km southeast of Chernihiv.

Mid April in the center of Chernihiv

Chernihiv is a city located about 140 km from Kyiv in the north of Ukraine, the administrative center of Chernihiv Oblast, the northernmost regional center of Ukraine.

The history of this city is more than 1,300 years old. In the past, it was the center of the Chernigov Principality – one of the largest and most powerful state formations in Rus in the 11th-13th centuries. Beautiful Old Churches of Chernihiv

Chernihiv, first mentioned in 907, is the most northern regional center of Ukraine. The center of the historical region of Severia, it was one of the largest towns of Kievan Rus (882-1240).

Church of the Three Saints in Lemeshi

Lemeshi is a village with a population of about 600 people located in the Kozelets district of the Chernihiv region, 60 km south of Chernihiv.

The building of the railway station in Chernihiv is a monumental structure built in 1950, in place of the building destroyed during the Second World War.
