Shpykolosy is a small village with a population of about 300 people located in the north of Lviv Oblast. The main attraction of the village is the wooden church of the Holy Trinity built in 1850.
Since the village was part of the Russian Empire, the church has an architecture typical for the churches of Volhynia of that time and is painted blue, which is also typical for Volhynia church architecture. It is the only wooden church on the territory of Lviv Oblast, which represents the church architecture of the times of the Russian Empire. Shpykolosy on Google Maps. Photos by: Maxim Ritus.
