Church of the Holy Spirit in Kolochava

Kolochava is a large village with a population of about 5,000 people located on the territory of the Synevyr National Natural Park in the north of the central part of Zakarpattia Oblast in western Ukraine.
Popular mountain tourist routes pass through Kolochava. It is also famous for its museums and monuments. In total, there are 10 museums and about 20 monuments here.
One of the main architectural sights of Kolochava is the slender wooden Church of the Holy Spirit (1795) – one of the tallest wooden churches in the Zakarpattia region. Today, this building is a museum. Church of the Holy Spirit on Google Maps. Photos by: Maxim Ritus.
