Historical and Architectural Reserve Khotyn Fortress

Khotyn is a town with a population of about 9,200 people located in the Chernivtsi region, about 62 km north-east of Chernivtsi. This town is famous for its picturesque medieval fortress standing on the bank of the Dniester River.

Monastery of St. Gerard in Hnizdychiv (Kokhavyno)

Today, Kokhavyno is not a separate territorial unit. This place is located almost in the center of Hnizdychiv – an urban village in the Zhydachiv district of the Lviv region, about 70 km south of Lviv. It is a famous pilgrimage place.

Catholic Church of St. Michael the Archangel in Krasnopil

Krasnopil is a village with a population of about 1,200 people located in the Chudniv district of the Zhytomyr region, about 80 km south-west of Zhytomyr.
In 1902, a magnificent Catholic church was built here – the Church of St. Michael the Archangel. In Soviet times, the church was closed and the building was used as a mill, a smithy, a tractor base, and then it was finally abandoned.

Holy Transfiguration Church in Oleksandriya

Oleksandriya is a large village with a population of about 2,300 people located in the Rivne region, about 16 km north-east of Rivne.

Lishchyny is a small village with a population of about 500 people located in the east of the Lviv region, about 57 km south-east of Lviv.

Pomoryany, included in the list of historical towns and villages of Ukraine, is an urban-type settlement with a population of about 1,300 people located in the Zolochiv district of the Lviv region, about 92 km east of Lviv.
One of the local attractions is the Catholic Church of the Holy Trinity, an architectural monument of national importance founded in 1738. The construction of this church was completed only in 1812.
