Vyshyvanka Day in Mariupol

The World Vyshyvanka Day is an international holiday celebrated to preserve the original folk traditions of making and wearing vyshyvanka – an embroidered shirt in Ukrainian national costume.
The holiday is held annually on the third Thursday of May. On this day everyone can join the holiday by wearing vyshyvanka for work, a university, a school, or even a kindergarten. Fly over Izyum – the third largest city of the Kharkiv region

Izyum (literally meaning “raisins”), first mentioned in 1571, is a city with a population of about 50,000 people located in the southeast of the Kharkiv region, about 124 km from Kharkiv.
This city, standing on the banks of the Siverskyi Donets River and surrounded by forests, is the third largest city of the Kharkiv region. Mount Kremyanets located on the territory of Izyum is the highest point of the region (218 m).

The Gate Church of the Trinity is an Orthodox church built above the Holy Gates of Kyiv Pechersk Lavra in Kyiv in 1106-1108. Kyiv Pechersk Lavra is one of the first monasteries of Kievan Rus and one of the most important Orthodox shrines.
