Stunning architecture of Chernivtsi National University

Chernivtsi National University named after Yuriy Fedkovych is one of the oldest universities in Ukraine located in Chernivtsi city. Nowadays, about 3,500 students are studying in this university founded in 1875.
In 2011, the central building of the university, the former residence of the Metropolitans of Bukovina and Dalmatia, was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. Photos by Denis Mukimov

The Park of Miniatures in Kyiv

Kyiv is a rather big city with a lot of interesting places. But there is one place where you can see the main attractions of the city together. It is Kyiv Park of Miniatures located near the metro station “Hydro Park.”
The park has about 50 architectural objects of Kyiv and other regions of Ukraine. In the future, there will be more than 120 models of buildings. The park covers an area of 1.8 hectares and is located on the territory of Hydro Park near the restaurant complex “Mlyn” at Brovarsky Avenue, 9V. Photos by muph

Traces of the Past in the Catacombs under Odessa

Museum-Reserve “The Battle for Kyiv in 1943”

Seventy years ago, during the Second World War, the territory around Kyiv was the place of the “Battle for the Dnieper” – one of the largest battles in world history (750 km front, 4 million people).
As a result, the German troops were forced to retreat, and Kyiv was liberated on November 6, 1943. Odessa is probably one of the most famous Ukrainian cities known also as the “Pearl of the South”. However, you are unlikely to have seen this Odessa before. Flying over the city, especially at a relatively low altitude, is prohibited.
