Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi Fortress (Akkerman Fortress until 1944) is a monument of history and urban planning of the 13th-15th centuries located in the city of Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi in Odesa Oblast, about 80 km south-west of Odesa. It is one of the best preserved fortresses on the territory of Ukraine.

Schonborn Palace, also known as Beregvar Castle, is the former residence and hunting lodge of the German-Austrian noble family of Schonborn, whose representatives were the largest landowners in Transcarpathia.

Horyany is a district within Uzhhorod, the capital of Zakarpattia Oblast. It is located about 3 kilometers east of the city center.

In the distant past, Bela IV (1206-1270), King of Hungary and Croatia, founded a new fortress instead of the destroyed old Uzhhorod castle here. Only a small church (rotunda) of the Gothic style with traces of frescoes of the 14th-15th centuries has survived. Church of St. Paraskevi in Skole

Skole is a town with a population of about 6 thousand people located in the valley of the Opir River in the Ukrainian Carpathians in the south of Lviv Oblast. The historical center of the ethnographic region of Boykivshchyna, it is included in the list of historical settlements of Ukraine.

Aircraft Cemetery in Poltava, Ukraine

Poltava Aircraft Cemetery is a former tactical military airfield located about 8 km northwest of the city of Poltava. It is one of two landing strips close to Poltava, the other being Poltava Airport.

The landing strip was once used to prepare Soviet pilots. Previously, this territory was the Pokryshkin Flight Training Center. It was one of the best flight schools, which trained combat pilots for three air regiments based in Zaporozhye.
