The Northern Prychornomoria, literally meaning “territory along the Black Sea coast”, is a historical and geographical region located in southern Ukraine.

This is a steppe and forest-steppe zone enveloping the Black and Azov Seas in the north, from the Black Sea coast of Romania to the western part of the North Caucasus. The largest ports of Ukraine, the mouths of the main Ukrainian rivers, the remains of ancient Greek settlements are located here.

Urman is a village with a population of about 600 people located in the Berezhany district of the Ternopil region, 65 km west of Ternopil.

Lukavets is a small village with a population of about 200 people located in the Brody district of the Lviv region, about 95 km east of Lviv.

Tips For Handling Money While Traveling

No matter where you might go in the world, it’s important to handle your money properly while traveling. Stari Petlykivtsi is a village with a population of about 1,000 people located in the Buchach district of the Ternopil region, about 60 km south-west of Ternopil.

Attractions of Tavria

Tavria is the old historical name of the steppe region located between the Dnieper and the Molochna rivers within the territory of the Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions, in the south of Ukraine.

Tavria is known for its endless bodies of water, reeds, sandy landscapes, the largest uninhabited island in Ukraine, unique flora and fauna. English subtitles are available.

Beautiful Old Churches of Chernihiv

Chernihiv, first mentioned in 907, is the most northern regional center of Ukraine. The center of the historical region of Severia, it was one of the largest towns of Kievan Rus (882-1240).

The Church of the Nativity of Christ, a monument of architecture of national importance, stands in the center of Halych, a historic town located in the Ivano-Frankivsk region, about 25 km north of Ivano-Frankivsk. The exact date of the construction of the church is unknown.
