Zhuravnyky is a village with a population of about 800 people located in the Horokhiv district of the Volyn region, on the highway Lviv–Lutsk. The village was previously a town and was called Druzhkopil.

Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi Fortress – the view from above

Medieval fortress in the town of Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi is a monument of history and town-planning of the 13th-15th centuries, one of the best and the largest preserved fortresses on the territory of Ukraine.
The total area of the fortress, standing on the rocky bank of the Dniester estuary, is 9 hectares, the length of the walls – 2.5 km. The fortress has the form of an irregular polygon.

Holy Transfiguration Church in Tuchyn

Tuchyn is a village with a population of about 2,500 people located in the Hoshcha district of the Rivne region, about 28 km to the north-east of Rivne.

Chernivtsi National University named after Yuriy Fedkovych, one of the greatest writers of western Ukraine, was established in 1875. Today, it is one of the best universities in Ukraine and certainly the most picturesque.
In 2011, the central building of the university – the former residence of the metropolitans of Bukovina and Dalmatia – was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Picturesque abandoned villa in Nyzhankovychi

Nyzhankovychi is an urban village with a population of about 1,800 people located in the Starosamborsk district of the Lviv region, on the border of Ukraine and Poland.
On the territory of the former estate there is the Nyzhankovychi professional lyceum, where boys are taught woodworking and machine-building, and girls – hairdressing. In the middle of the estate garden you can see a beautiful building originally used as a library of the lyceum.

Colorful summer in the center of Kharkiv

Kharkiv, known as an industrial city, has a lot of places to relax. In the warm season, one of the favorite places of locals and guests of the city is the public garden “Strelka” located at the confluence of two rivers – Kharkiv and Lopan.
