Church of Joseph the Betrothed in Zhytni Hory

Zhytni Hory is a village with a population of about 2,300 people located in Kyiv Oblast of Ukraine, about 105 km south of Kyiv.

The Church of the Righteous Joseph the Betrothed in Zhytni Hory is known for its picturesqueness of forms and harmony of proportions of its central part. The architectural silhouette of this wooden church is slender and laconic. Paintings of the 19th century have been preserved in its interior. The church is small, but quite refined.
