Nehrovets is a village of about 2 thousand people located in the central part of Zakarpattia Oblast in the very west of Ukraine. The village is dominated by Mount Nehrovets (1,707 m), one of the highest mountains in the Ukrainian Carpathians.
The main architectural attraction of the village is the Church of St. Michael the Archangel (1818) standing on a hillside – an architectural monument of national importance and one of the best examples of wooden churches with towers. Nehrovets on Google Maps. Photos by: Maxim Ritus.
