House with Chimeras – the most mysterious building in Kyiv

House with Chimeras, also known as Horodecki House, is an amazing brick building in the Art Nouveau style, an object of cultural heritage located in Kyiv.
The house got its name because of the unique sculptural decoration placed both on the facade of the house and inside it (land and underwater fauna, hunting attributes, fabulous creatures). Photos by: Igor Golovach.

Truskavets is a town and spa resort located in the Lviv region, in the foothills of the Ukrainian Carpathians, 93 km southwest of Lviv. It is one of the oldest spa resorts in the world (since 1827) that became famous for its mineral springs and rehabilitation centers.

Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine, is gradually transformed into an open-air art gallery. More than 100 murals, created by international stars of street art, appeared on the buildings of the city, and this number will double in the near future.

“Pripyat. Another Life” is an excellent film about what happens with the city of Pripyat, abandoned after the Chernobyl disaster, today.
Despite the human tragedy, nature continues normal course of events reviving a new life.

Let’s fly over the passenger railway station of Kharkiv

The passenger railway station in Kharkiv, also known as the South railway station, is one of the most important transportation hubs in Eastern Ukraine.
The current building of the station, built in the style of “Stalin’s empire” with elements of classicism, was opened November 2, 1952. The previous building was destroyed during the Second World War.
The height of the towers is 42 meters, the diameter of the tower clock – 4.25 meters. In 2003, the station was renovated for the 350th anniversary of Kharkiv.
