Krainykovo is a village of about 1,500 people located in the southern part of Zakarpattia Oblast, about 124 km southeast of Uzhhorod.

Here you can see a very picturesque wooden architectural monument of national importance built in the Gothic style – the Church of St. Michael the Archangel (1666-1668). Orders for Ukrainian flags have soared, according to the owner of National Flag Company, marking the first time he’s seen such enthusiasm for another country’s flag.

Bukovets’ is a village of about 450 people located in Zakarpattia Oblast, about 125 km east of Uzhhorod. The main attraction of this village is the wooden Church of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary (1808), a cultural heritage site of national importance.

Likitsary is a small highland village of less than 50 residents located in the west of Zakarpattia Oblast, about 45 km northeast of Uzhhorod.
