Bukovets’ is a village of about 450 people located in Zakarpattia Oblast, about 125 km east of Uzhhorod. The main attraction of this village is the wooden Church of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary (1808), a cultural heritage site of national importance.
There was no place for a bell tower near the church, and therefore it was placed a little higher, thanks to which the whole ensemble acquired its originality. Bukovets’ on Google Maps. Photos by: Maxim Ritus.
