Aircraft Cemetery in Poltava, Ukraine

Poltava Aircraft Cemetery is a former tactical military airfield located about 8 km northwest of the city of Poltava. It is one of two landing strips close to Poltava, the other being Poltava Airport.
The landing strip was once used to prepare Soviet pilots. Previously, this territory was the Pokryshkin Flight Training Center. It was one of the best flight schools, which trained combat pilots for three air regiments based in Zaporozhye.

Zaporozhye aluminum combine is an industrial enterprise of the metallurgical industry of Ukraine, the only producer of primary aluminum in the country.
The construction of an aluminum plant in Zaporozhye began in 1930. The plant became the first enterprise of the Soviet aluminum industry. The first aluminum ingots were produced in 1933. New Pedestrian and Bicycle Bridge in Kyiv

May 25, 2019, in Kyiv, a new pedestrian-bicycle bridge connecting the People’s Friendship Arch and Saint Volodymyr Hill was officially opened.
The bridge offers impressive views of the center of the Ukrainian capital and the Dnieper River. The length of this bridge made of concrete, iron and glass is 212 meters, the width ranges from 6 meters in regular zones to 14 meters in observation zones. Photos by Aleksandr Goncharov for Apostrophe.

Children Landscape Park – One of the Must See Places in Kyiv

Peizazhna Alley is a recreation area in Kyiv created on the site of the old defense walls of the Upper Town. In 2009, Children Landscape Park was opened here – one of the most impressive and unusual places in the city. It is a great place for both kids and adults where you can take a lot of nice pictures.

Abandoned and Flooded Korostyshivsky Quarry

Korostyshivsky quarry is a picturesque flooded granite quarry located on the outskirts of the town of Korostyshiv in the Zhytomyr region, about 100 km west of Kyiv.
The landscape around the quarry is unusual, the shore is covered with spruces and birches, which resembles Karelia. Ghost town of Pripyat – 32 years after evacuation

More than 30 years passed since the day of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant accident and the “temporary evacuation” of the residents of the town of Pripyat located in the immediate vicinity of the station, about 150 km north of Kyiv.
Over the years, the streets of Pripyat turned into a real forest. It will be another 10 to 15 years and the buildings will collapse massively. Ball of Chrysanthemums in Feldman Ecopark near Kharkiv

Feldman Ecopark is a regional landscape park with an area of 140.5 hectares located 15 km north of the center of Kharkiv. It is a favorite place for recreation of residents and visitors of the city.
