Kamianets-Podilskyi Castle is a picturesque medieval fortification located in the city of Kamianets-Podilskyi in Khmelnytskyi Oblast of Ukraine.

In the past, it was the main part of the defensive system of the town of Kamianets, the capital of Duchy of Podolia in the 14th-15th centuries and the Podolian Voivodeship in the 15th-18th centuries. The castle acquired its current appearance in the middle of the 16th century and was known as the “uttermost bastion of Christianity”.

Church of the Assumption in Chortkiv

The Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary (1581-1584), a picturesque wooden Orthodox church, is one of the architectural attractions of Chortkiv and the oldest church of this town.

Church of the Ascension in Chortkiv

The Church of the Ascension of the Lord in the town of Chortkiv, located in the south of Ternopil Oblast, is a unique monument of Ukrainian wooden architecture. The covering of the church resembles scales, it is firmly attached to the building and reliably protects it from bad weather.

The Dominican Church in Chortkiv

Chortkiv is a town with a population of about 29 thousand people located in the southern part of Ternopil Oblast in western Ukraine, about 75 km south of Ternopil.

Libukhova is a village of about 300 people located 120 km southwest of Lviv. Here you can see an interesting wooden church, a distinctive feature of which is a massive pyramidal roof – the Church of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary (1820).

Lazeshchyna is a large village with a population of about 4 thousand people located near the Yablunytskyj Pass, at the foot of the Petros and Hoverla mountains, in the southeast of Zakarpattia Oblast.

St. Josaphat Church in Bachyna

Bachyna is a village of about 300 people located in Lviv Oblast, about 88 km southwest of Lviv. The main attraction of this place is a wooden church built on a hill in the middle of the village in 1868.

Slavske is an urban-type settlement with a population of about 3,500 people located on the territory of Lviv Oblast, about 138 km south-west of Lviv. It is the largest and most famous ski resort in Ukraine situated in a picturesque river valley deep in the Ukrainian Carpathians.
