According to the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, the average monthly salary in Ukraine in November 2018 was 9,161 UAH (about 250 GBP), in Kyiv the average salary was 13,897 UAH (380 GBP). Most of the income, up to 50% or even higher, is spent on food, the rest - on utility bills, transportation. Buying a car, an apartment, traveling abroad with this income level is problematic.
