Vudubickiy Monastery in Kyiv

St. Michael’s Vudubickiy Monastery was founded in the second half of the 11th century by Vsevolod, the son of Prince Yaroslav the Wise. The architectural ensemble of the present monastery was built in the 17th-18th centuries.
The monastery is located in the Botanical Garden named after Grishko in Kyiv. It belongs to the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Kyiv Patriarchate.

Poltava is a city with a population of about 296 thousand people, the administrative center of Poltava region, located in the northeastern part of Ukraine, on the Vorskla River.

Kamenets Podolskiy is a city located in Khmelnitsky region. It is one of the oldest cities in Ukraine. The main attraction of Kamenets Podolskiy is its old fortress.

Chernobyl zone 29 years later

April 26, 2015, the 29th anniversary of the Chernobyl disaster was marked. After these years, Pripyat, the once flourishing city, disappeared beneath dense thickets, the nuclear station ceased its operation.
Amusement Park. Grand opening was scheduled for Labor Day – May 1. The accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant foiled these plans.

National Botanic Garden of Nikolai Grishko is a research institution engaged in the design and creation of new botanical gardens and parks, as well as many other branches of theoretical and applied botany.
This botanical garden is part of the natural reserve fund of Ukraine protected as a national heritage of the state. It is located in Kyiv (Timiryazevskaya Street, 1).

St. Panteleimon Monastery in Feofania

St. Panteleimon Monastery in Feofania is a nunnery of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, located in “Feofania” natural park, on the southern outskirts of Kyiv (Academician Lebedev Street, 19).
Feofania is a monument of landscape art of national importance. The park harmoniously combines miraculous masterpieces of untouched nature, landscape design and spiritual greatness of St. Panteleimon Cathedral.

Construction of the New Shelter over Chernobyl NPP

The New Safe Confinement (also known as the New Shelter, Shelter-2) is an insulating arched structure over the destroyed fourth power unit of Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant in Pripyat. The construction began in 2007 and is expected to be completed in 2017.
The main reason of the construction is that the existing object “Shelter” is short-lived. Under the influence of radiation and weather, it is gradually degraded. And about 200 tons of radioactive materials are still under the sarcophagus.

Bukovel is the largest ski resort in Ukraine. It is located near Polianytsia village in Ivano-Frankivsk region, about 100 km south-west of Ivano-Frankivsk, near the foot of Bukovel Mountain, at an altitude of 920 meters above sea level. The highest point of the resort is Dovga Mountain (1372 meters).
The season runs from late November to mid / late April. In 2012, Bukovel was one of the most rapidly developing ski resorts in the world.
